Returns & Cancellations

At Kaya Atelier, every furniture piece is individually crafted to order within our own fabrication facility by our experienced stone masons. From selecting each slab through to precision CNC fabrication and hand-finishing, every order is made specifically for each client.

Because of the bespoke nature of our products, we encourage customers to review all quotations, dimensions, material selections and finishes carefully before confirming an order.

Our team is always available to answer any questions prior to production commencing.

Bespoke Furniture

The majority of Kaya Atelier products are bespoke and manufactured specifically for each customer.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Dining Tables
• Coffee Tables
• Console Tables
• Side Tables
• Vanities
• Plinths
• Outdoor Furniture
• Custom Furniture
• Furniture made to customer dimensions
• Furniture manufactured from customer-selected marble, quartz or porcelain slabs

As every piece is individually fabricated, bespoke orders cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without charge before production has commenced.

Once fabrication has begun, your order cannot be cancelled, as materials will have been allocated and manufacturing will already be underway.

Should a cancellation be requested after production has started, any payments made may be retained to cover materials, labour and manufacturing costs already incurred.

If you are unsure whether production has commenced, please contact our team and we will be happy to advise.

Returns

Due to the bespoke nature of our furniture, we are unable to accept returns for:

• Change of mind
• Incorrect measurements supplied by the customer
• Changes to interior design preferences
• Natural variations within marble
• Customer-selected material choices
• Bespoke dimensions or specifications

Each Kaya Atelier piece is manufactured exclusively for the original purchaser and cannot be resold as a standard product.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every item undergoes a thorough quality inspection before leaving our workshop.

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged during transit or does not match your confirmed order, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Where appropriate, we will assess the issue and, at our discretion, arrange one of the following:

• Repair
• Replacement
• Appropriate resolution

Photographs of the issue may be requested to assist our assessment.

Natural Stone Characteristics

Marble is a natural material created over millions of years.

Each slab possesses its own individual characteristics, including:

• Veining
• Colour variation
• Mineral movement
• Natural markings
• Small naturally occurring fissures
• Surface movement

These characteristics are part of the beauty of natural stone and should never be considered defects.

Similarly, quartz and porcelain may display slight batch variations depending on production runs.

Every Kaya Atelier piece is therefore entirely unique.

Customer Approval

Before fabrication begins, customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all relevant details, including:

• Dimensions
• Material selection
• Edge profile
• Finish
• Quantity
• Delivery information
• Any drawings or visual approvals where applicable

Once approval has been given and production has commenced, changes may no longer be possible.

Access Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased furniture can be safely delivered into the property.

Please ensure all:

• Doorways
• Hallways
• Staircases
• Lifts
• Access routes

are suitable before placing an order.

Kaya Atelier cannot accept responsibility for furniture that cannot be installed due to insufficient access where correct dimensions were supplied.

Consumer Rights

Nothing within this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where required by law, Kaya Atelier will always meet its obligations in respect of faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

Our Commitment

Every Kaya Atelier piece represents hundreds of hours of craftsmanship, precision engineering and meticulous finishing.

By manufacturing entirely in-house, we maintain complete control over quality from the raw slab to final installation. Should any genuine issue arise, our team will work with you to achieve a fair and professional resolution, reflecting the level of service expected from a luxury furniture atelier.
